British Handmade Slim Espagnolette Bolts in Brass Bronze Chrome or Nickel

7421 Locking slimline Espagnolette Bolts for doors with narrow stiles. handmade in the West Midlands at one of the finest Brass British foundries.

This cremone bolt can be supplied with any British Handmade door knob or lever handle. We will email you the options if you enquire.

There is an outside handle option also. Max door thickness 80mm.

Cranked rod ends are available which provide a further 10mm stand off. These are usually only specified where there is not enough timber to shoot into or the plates supplied as standard will not fit.

On standard 2134mm high bolts the handle will be set centrally unless otherwise stated. For extra lengths the handle will be set at 1067mm. (This is from the bottom of the withdrawn bottom bolt which usually means the bottom of the door leaf.) 28mm wide staples.

All finishes are special order and are non returnable unless faulty. In stock refers to base product. Expect 5-7 weeks manufacture time.

Standard size is to suit an opening of 2134mm and can be cut down on site. Larger sizes are available, just call us!

Gearbox measures 145x27mm. Rods are 10x10mm. Projection is important to avoid clashes with the other leaf on double doors or the frame on a single door. Please note this. The gearbox body projects 24mm plus whatever knob or lever you select.

Locking is via an allen key type lock in the gearbox as standard but we can also offer a thumbturn.

This model is non handed when knobs are used but some lever handles will require handing.

Many finishes are available laquered or Unlaquered. Unlaquered and "living" finishes like antique brass patinate and wear through naturally revealing the brass underneath.
