Imperial Locks DIN standard euro profile 72mm sash locks. Made by Guardian Locks. Top quality handmade british locks and latches.

DIN standard sashlocks with a short action and very positive feel. The large case allows for a good gap between the lever handle and escutcheon or rose of the turn and release. This looks superb and is compliant with the latest DDA or Access For All standards BS8300.

Available in Satin Brass, Satin Stainless Steel, Polished Stainless Stee (like chrome), IBMA Bronze or black with a matching striker and screws. They can usually be finished to match your door furniture for an additional fee when ordered at the same time.

76 or 101mm overall case depth (see size chart.) Note that backset and case depth are two different measurements.

Standard springing for sprung lever handles and heavy springing for unsprung lever handles.

Can be supplied with a zinc plated dust box to tidy up the stike plate area.

OPERATION:
Latchbolt operated by lever handle from either side. Deadbolt operated by key from either side using a double cylinder or by key outside and thumbturn inside using a single cylinder with turn.

SPECIFICATION:
Pierced to accept 20mm and 38mm centre bolt through fixing escutcheons and 38mm centre horizontally and diagonally opposed bolt through fixing furniture.

LATCHBOLT.
Brass, reversible. Projection 12mm.

DEADBOLT.
Brass, with two hardened steel rollers. Throw 14mm

FOLLOWER.
Brass, to suit 8mm square spindle. One-way action. Sprung to suit sprung lever handle furniture. For unsprung lever handle furniture heavy duty springing should be specified.

CYLINDER.
Not supplied. May be used with the below cylinders:

Satin Brass is usually a stock finish. All others are specials and can take 7-10 days on average. Sometimes longer depending on component stock.
